Preorders and cancellations
A planned purchase for card games, miniature systems and model-specific RC hobbies may include an item that is not ready to ship. At Crossover Games, a preorder is a paid reservation governed by the terms below. It should never be mistaken for stock ready for dispatch.
1. What a preorder is
A preorder is an order for a product that has not yet been released or is not yet available for immediate shipment. Products are clearly identified as preorders on their product pages.
2. Payment
Full payment is collected at checkout when a preorder is placed. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are displayed before payment.
3. Estimated availability and delivery
Each preorder product page displays an estimated availability or shipping date based on information supplied by the manufacturer, distributor, or another supplier. The displayed date is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. A preorder ships only after the product is released and inventory is received by Crossover Games. Normal processing and carrier transit estimates apply after preorder inventory becomes available.
Release and arrival dates may change without notice because of production, allocation, distribution, carrier, or manufacturer delays.
4. Preorder cancellation
You may request a full cancellation and refund within 24 hours of placing a preorder, unless the order has already entered fulfillment.
After 24 hours, a cancellation may be offered as store credit or approved at our discretion. Nothing in this section limits remedies required by applicable law or a refund owed because we cannot fulfill the product.
5. Mixed preorder and in-stock orders
Orders containing both preorder and in-stock products normally ship when all items are available. Place separate orders if you want in-stock items to follow the normal processing schedule.
6. Delays
Release schedules and allocations can change. We will contact affected customers when a shipping promise cannot be met and explain the revised estimate, where known. A product-page update does not replace any notice or consent required for an existing order.
If we cannot ship within the promised time, we will give notice of the delay and offer cancellation with a full refund as required by applicable law. Where consent to a revised shipping date is required, we will obtain it or cancel and refund the unshipped order. These rights take priority over discretionary cancellation limits.
7. Allocation shortages and cancellations
Manufacturers and distributors may reduce or cancel allocations. If we cannot fulfill a preorder, we will cancel the unavailable item and issue a full refund to the original payment method. We are not responsible for indirect losses, missed resale opportunities, or changes in market value resulting from an allocation shortage or release delay.
8. Returns after delivery
The return window for an eligible preorder begins after confirmed delivery, not on the order date. New factory-sealed products must remain unopened and meet all requirements in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
9. Standard order cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation of an in-stock order. We may cancel an order before fulfillment begins, but cancellation is not guaranteed once the order is being packed or has shipped.
10. Fraud and payment review
We may hold, cancel, or refund an order that fails payment verification, address verification, fraud review, inventory verification, or other reasonable security checks.

Check the exact preorder edition
For a card-game product, miniature model or RC component, compare game system, model scale, manufacturer part number and listed compatibility before checkout. A preorder for one format or edition is not a reservation for every version of the release. If you want another version, ask about cancellation and a separate order rather than assuming a substitution is possible.
The estimated release date is not the date a parcel will arrive at your address. We first need the product to be released and the inventory to reach us; processing and carrier transit follow. Keep the confirmation email so that the product description and original estimate are available if you need to ask about a change.
